Fall Semester 2014

	Last day to register for Fall Semester without paying a late fee.

	Faculty contract begins

	New student orientation (check online campus calendar for campus specific dates - www.alliant.edu). Attendance is mandatory for new students.

	Add/Drop Deadline for Fall Semester full-term courses. Last day to add or drop without late fee. Last day to drop a full-term course for 100% refund.*

Sept. 26	Friday
	Last day to withdraw from Fall Semester Session 1 courses in good standing.

Oct. 24	Friday
	Last day to withdraw from Fall Semester full-term courses in good standing.

	Thanksgiving Holiday. Classes do not meet. University offices are closed.

Dec. 8	Monday
	Last day to register for Winter Intersession without paying a late fee.

Dec. 14	Sunday
	Last day of Fall Semester full-term courses.

Dec. 15 - 21	Monday - Sunday
	Final Examinations; make up classes (in case of holidays, etc.); semester end activities.

	Last day of Fall Semester Session 2 courses.

	Faculty off contract.

	Faculty contracts resume. Instruction begins for Winter Intersession.*

	Last day to withdraw from Winter Intersession courses in good standing.

	Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday observed. Classes do not meet. University offices are closed.

Jan. 25	Sunday
	Last day of Winter Intersession classes.

Spring Semester 2015

Mar. 2	Monday
	Deadline to file FAFSA in order to receive priority financial aid from Alliant for 2015-2016 year. Transfer and future term students may need to request previous college to complete CalGrant GPA verification form.

Mar. 20	Friday
	Last day to withdraw from Spring Semester full-term courses in good standing.

Mar. 22	Sunday
	Last day of Spring Semester Session 1 courses.

Mar. 23 - 29	Monday - Sunday
	Mid-Term Break. Classes do not meet. Faculty off contract.

Mar. 27	Friday
	Cesar Chavez Day Holiday observed. Classes do not meet. University offices are closed.

Mar. 30	Monday
	Instruction begins for Spring Semester Session 2 (8-week) courses*.
