	Instruction begins for Spring Semester Leadership Program LDR 8704 course.

Jan. 19 - 22	Tuesday - Friday
	New student orientation (check online campus calendar for campus specific dates - www.alliant.edu) Attendance is mandatory for new students.

Jan. 29	Friday
	Deadline Graduation Applications due for Spring 2016 to Registrar’s Office. (Doctoral, Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees)

Feb. 1	Monday
	Health Insurance Waiver Deadline. (Undergraduate and International Students)

Feb. 14	Sunday
	Financial Aid Priority Deadline for Graduate Students for 2016-2017.

Feb. 15	Monday
	President’s Day Holiday. Classes do not meet. University offices are closed.

Mar. 2	Wednesday
	Deadline to file FAFSA in order to receive priority financial aid from Alliant for 2016-2017 year. Transfer and future term students may need to request previous college to complete CalGrant GPA verification form.

Mar. 21 - 27	Monday - Sunday
	Mid-Term Break. Classes do not meet. Faculty off contract.

Apr. 1	Friday
	Cesar Chavez Day Holiday observed. Classes do not meet. University offices are closed.

Apr. 25	Monday
	Registration for Summer Term and Fall Semester begins

May 2	Friday
	Last day for doctoral students to defend by in order to participate in commencement. Programs may have more stringent deadlines.

May 6	Monday
	Last day to register for Summer Term without paying a late fee.

May 30	Monday
	Memorial Day Holiday. University offices are closed.

June 6	Monday
	Faculty contract period ends.

*Add/Drop and Withdrawal Deadlines

For courses at least 10 weeks in length:

Add/Drop Deadline: 14 calendar days from the start of the course.
Withdrawal Deadline: 35 calendar days from the start of the course.

For courses that are at least 6 weeks in length, but less than 10 weeks in length:

Add/Drop Deadline: 7 calendar days from the start of the course.
Withdrawal Deadline: 28 calendar days from the start of the course.

For courses less than 6 weeks in length, but greater than one weekend:

Add/Drop Deadline: 3 calendar days from the start of the course.
Withdrawal Deadline: 14 calendar days from the start of the course.

For a weekend-only course:

Add/Drop Deadline: Day prior to start of course.
Withdrawal Deadline: 1 calendar day from the start of the course.
