EDU 6834 - Autism Collaborative Mentoring and Seminar(3 units)
This 3 unit course applies a Candidate’s understanding of Special Education students to the unique needs of students with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Participants will become familiar with formal and informal assessment tools. Systems for collaborating with other service providers will be provided. Behavioral based teaching strategies, structured teaching, visual supports and positive behavior supports will be discussed.
