PSY6326B - Diversity and the Family(1.5 units) Examines diversity in the family including issues of ethnicity, race, religion, gender, gender-roles, sexual orientation, and social class. Blends systemic theory, research and practice, as students learn to work with diversity issues in families and with families having differing cultures, values, and needs. Includes consideration of African American, Latino, Native American, Filipino, Asian, inter- racial, and other ethic/racial populations.
