Focus on culture and cultural diversity and their relationship to the academic achievement of linguistically and culturally diverse students. Examination of the nature and manifestation of culture, cultural contact and
cultural diversity in California, the U.S., and other global settings. Emphasis on knowledge and skills to develop culturally inclusive instruction and ability to utilize cross-cultural communication skills.
