NUR60020 - Population and Community Nursing Care

Students will focus on the role of the nurse in community-based and public health nursing for individuals, families, and communities. Students will determine how local, state, and national government entities impact healthcare policy and delivery. Students will examine core concepts of epidemiology, disease prevention, environmental health, and contemporary health issues in developing healthier communities for diverse and vulnerable populations.
