Students will explore systems thinking (macro, meso, micro), organizational dynamics, and the nurse leader’s role in driving positive change. Emphasis will be placed on fostering effective communication and collaboration with diverse healthcare team members to improve patient outcomes and enhance the quality of care. Key topics examined include team dynamics, conflict resolution, change management, and cultural competency within the context of interprofessional collaboration. Students develop the leadership skills to navigate complex healthcare systems, promote collaboration, and advocate for equitable patient-centered care. A preparation plan for certification will be supported through reading, quizzing, and testing.
