BUS60600 - Organizational Behavior and Global Leadership(3 units) This course offers an examination of frameworks and approaches to understanding human behavior in organizational contexts. Interactions between people and the systems in which they function from individual, interpersonal, group, intergroup, and organizational levels of analysis will be explored. Topics covered include personality, attitudes and values, perception, communication, motivation, leadership, power and influence, group behavior and team effectiveness, conflict and negotiation, organizational structure, organizational culture, managing diversity, and organizational change. These topics are addressed in the context of globalization. Students are encouraged to take the perspective of leaders in global work environments.
