The Alliant School of Management (ASM) is a different kind of management school. It combines multidisciplinary approaches with experiential learning to help students gain the skills needed to help organizations identify and resolve modern problems. ASM combines the richness and diversity of Business and Management and International Studies – to prepare its graduates for professional and career success.
Since we believe it is so important to teach management in a broad economic and social context, we have broadened our mission. In these programs, we are moving business education from a focus on wealth-creation toward an emphasis on solving global problems. We encourage students to explore ideas across boundaries - international, disciplinary, and even mindsets – and to collaborate in applying what they have learned in real-world projects.
We have a rich international tradition with students from over 100 countries studying with us in ASM and its predecessor, US International University. ASM students are made up of diverse backgrounds and nationalities, and this adds value to our School and to the provided education in many ways.
Our students benefit from close interaction with a faculty characterized by professional and business experience as well as academic credentials. They participate in classes that emphasize an applied approach to professional preparation. Our students are routinely favored in hiring because they are better prepared for jobs after they go through our programs.
Check out some of our innovative degree options, shown in the following pages:
- An undergraduate Business Administration program with seven different concentrations options, including an International Business concentration and an Integrated Marketing Communications concentration.
- An undergraduate International Relations program that offers you the option to do a minor in Latin American studies at our Mexico City campus.
Choose a format that suits you – from traditional day and afternoon classes to evening courses for our undergraduate and graduate business programs. We offer weekend courses with “blended” learning communities in our Leadership PhD degree. ASM students can also gain credits and experience in study tours and programs offered in our Mexico City campus.
