The MGSM Certificate Program in e-Business provides practical advice and mentoring to assist in both start-up and expansion activities. The program provides information, skill development, and an opportunity to develop an e-business plan. Classes meet every 8 weeks. It typically takes two semesters to earn a certificate, although it is possible for students to earn the certificate in less than two semesters. The courses described below are presented primarily in an on-line modality. There will be opportunities for students to present their developed e-business plans to a panel of experts and receive face-to-face feedback and suggestions.

Who Should Attend

Entrepreneurs who are either involved in an ongoing e-business or future entrepreneurs will find the program an excellent opportunity to learn the skills necessary to develop a business plan and to receive expert feedback on their plan. Managers and professionals employed in existing organizations that are contemplating either an expansion of an existing venture or the creation of a new e-business initiative will find valuable information in this program.
