Program Description/Overview
This certificate is designed to support public safety and human resources professionals to acquire knowledge regarding the factors that influence situational awareness and to apply this knowledge to improve risk management decision-making. Case studies in a variety of contexts- workplace accidents, school shooter, officer-involved shootings- will be employed as the basis for scenarios for students to apply theories into practice.
