ORG 7864 - I-O Psychology Research Project II(3 units) This course is a two-semester introduction to conducting applied research. It will prepare I-O Psychology students for their future research requirements including the doctoral dissertation. The course is taught as a guided experience in planning and executing actual research in an area of I-O Psychology. Students enrolled in the class will identify a suitable topic and develop appropriate hypotheses. Next, the methods and instruments for testing the hypotheses will be developed. Data will then be collected and analyzed pertinent to the hypotheses. Finally, a written report of the research will be prepared suitable for publication in a journal or presentation at a professional meeting. Prerequisites: PSY 6021, PSY 6022, PSY 6700, and ORG 6016
