CCS 6180 - Ethnicity and Learning within the Context of Peace Education

This course deals with the study of ethnicity as it relates and impact on learning; the meaning of ethnicity; the multiple ethnic groups in American society and in world cultures. The course offers knowledge and strategies of dealing with the similarities and differences between and among ethnic groups. It examines the conflicting views that results from the differences among ethnic groups thereby causing the disturbances in peaceful relations among them.
