PSY 6112 - Social Basis of Behavior(2 to 3 units) An overview of the development and functions of basic social motives. Examines research and theory in areas such as learning, self as process, person perception, interpersonal behavior and group dynamics, attitude/value formation and change, aggression, altruism, context of culture and sex roles. Discussion will emphasize the clinical relevance and application of social psychological research and social psychological assessment devices. (CFT students only: 3 units)
