PSY 6369 - Practicum Extension

Observation and supervision of marital and family therapy in an approved clinic or public agency and a course involving case presentations, live and videotape supervision of therapy experiences. The practicum program requires 500 hours of direct client contact, 250 of which must be with couples or families; students receive 100 hours of individual and group supervision, at least 50 hours of which are based on direct observation, videotape or audiotape, and at least 25 of the 50 based only on live observation or videotape. Students must be enrolled in a practicum or practicum extension course until all hour requirements are complete.
Prerequisites: PSY 7360 (3 semesters at 3 units each, 9 units total), approval of CFT Clinical Training Coordinator
