A marketing plan is essential for every business enterprise, for it serves as the foundation for achieving organizational objectives. A marketing plan is used in large corporate environments, small entrepreneurial firms, non-profit institutions, and even government agencies. Competitive market planning teaches how to conduct secondary research and Internet investigations of industry competitors, and to formulate a plan of action based upon organizational vision, mission, financial resources, and objectives. Students will be expected to design and present a marketing plan suitable for adoption by business executives.
