This course provides an overview of the theories and approaches related to identifying and mitigating potential violent activity in a variety of contexts. The course examines identifying and assessing threats and other hazards and managing risk through the lenses of behavioral threat assessment, quantitative & qualitative violence risk assessment, analysis of behavior, victim roles and dynamics, and industry best-practices in risk management.
