The class also deals with the adverse impact of Identity Theft on consumers and their credit reports and ability to secure credit. The course covers Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Identify Theft. The class explores ways to prevent identify theft, discover when it has happened, stop it from happening and recover from its effects.
