PSY61241 - Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Training(1 unit) This course series is designed to increase knowledge, and skills related to working from a perspective that incorporates diversity, equity, and inclusion. Students will explore concepts including, but not limited to: systemic racism and oppression, intersectionality, invisible and visible identities, implicit bias, and microaggressions. The four modules in this course series (PSY61230 , PSY61241, PSY71230 , PSY81230 ) are sequential, offering a progressively more experiential and reflective study of the nature of identity in the context of a system of power and privilege. Throughout the courses, particular emphasis will be placed on how to incorporate a social justice orientation into the role of a practicing and professional psychologist.
