FIN60010 - Analysis of Financial and Accounting Data

Through use of technological tools like excel, python and R, students are exposed to financial planning techniques, risk management strategies. Students will explore decision-making through computer modeling, construct and utilize pro forma financial statements and assess the feasibility of projects and capital budgeting. The course will address the skills needed to be a data driven financial manager and be a persuasive oral and written communicator of corporate financial information. A venture/business plan is developed during the course.
