NUR20010 - Healthcare Informatics and Technologies

This course examines the use of information and technology in the delivery of nursing practice and healthcare. The students will learn about current technologies and innovations, and how they are integrated into healthcare systems to promote quality healthcare. The nurse’s role in the implementation and use of technologies including electronic health records, telehealth, and applications that support patient education, communication, safety, and privacy will be emphasized.
