NUR40030 - Nursing Leadership and Management

In this course, students will examine concepts and processes related to leadership and management as they relate to nursing and diverse healthcare settings. Students will analyze the impact that organizational structure and culture have on managerial decision-making, time and stress management, and the delivery of patient-centered nursing care. Students will also explore how nursing shared governance promotes patient safety and quality outcomes.
