HUM11000 - Introduction to Humanities

This course is an introductory humanities course. In this course, students will engage in interdisciplinary, multi-perspective assessment of cultural, political, philosophical, and aesthetic factors critical to the formulation of values and the historical development of the individual and society. In this course, students will trace the evolution of the idea of the individual in/and society in the humanities from antiquity to contemporary times.
