In the course, students develop a comprehensive understanding of the principles and foundations of epidemiology and biostatistics, gaining the knowledge and skills to critically analyze healthcare data, identify patterns, and evaluate health outcomes. Emphasis is placed on evidence-based decision-making and integrating epidemiology and biostatistics into strategic nursing and healthcare management. Students will develop proficiency in statistical methods to inform strategic decision-making, enhance patient safety, and improve healthcare delivery systems.
