NUR60055 - Scholarship & Evidence-Based Practice(3 units) In this course, students develop and apply information literacy skills and discern the relationships among quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and research. As part of the learning experience, students apply database research skills, identify interdisciplinary research and outcomes data, evaluate the legal, ethical, and cultural issues of research, critically appraise research and the research process, and learn how to integrate scientific evidence to inform best practices. Students demonstrate the synthesis of knowledge and skills acquired through successfully developing an evidence-based project proposal. Prerequisites: NUR60110, NUR60015, NUR60120, NUR60005 Co-requisite: NUR60045 w/ 50 CPE hours
