ABA60020 - Behavior Measurement and Research Methods in Applied Behavior Analysis

In this course students will learn about basic behavior measurement and research methodologies used in applied behavior analysis with an emphasis on single-case research designs. Students will develop competence in measurement, graphic representation, and data-based decision making. They will learn about single case research designs (e.g., multiple baseline, ABAB) by analyzing and critiquing data from SCRD studies. The course will place a strong emphasis on socially valid research and the protection of human subjects.
