This course will provide opportunities to practice the concepts and principles used for the physical assessment of the health status of patients. Emphasis will be placed on obtaining health and medication histories of the patient, assessing vital signs and interpretation of physical findings and laboratory tests. Students will be observed live and via video recordings and will receive supervision to help them develop and strengthen their physical health assessment skills.
