The Accelerated MBA offers an Executive format for completing an MBA degree in just 12 months with a learning structure that meets face-to-face one weekend per month (from Friday to Sunday), coupled with online sessions. The face-to-face meetings are held at our campus locations in California, including San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
The MBA program provides an enterprise wide view of advanced skills in business and management disciplines, including practical experience in the application of those skills in the context of the overall dynamics of organizations; change manager and change agent skills; skill in working as a member of a multicultural team; and an ability to collect, analyze and critically evaluate data as well as other information to arrive at reasoned conclusions. The program also provides the skills to evaluate the environments of organizations and develop responsive strategies for organizations and advanced competence in interpersonal, oral, written, quantitative and technology management skills. The program provides students the unique opportunity to learn directly from both distinguished professors and practitioners in the field—as well as from the guest speakers of the Marshall Goldsmith School of Management Thought Leaders Program.
This option has the advantage that students can complete the degree in an intensive 1 year duration of back to back semesters. Cohorts of students attend classes together one weekend per month, from Friday to Sunday. Online and desktop video conferencing are utilized for blended course delivery in between the in-person weekends. The cohorts enjoy industry connections and networking opportunities as well as access to internationally distinguished Thought Leaders, including Jim Kouzes, Vijay Govindarajan, Paul Hersey, Ian Mitroff, Brian Tracy. The small program size ensures individual attention from faculty and advisers and a diverse student body and faculty from over 80 different countries enables the program to impart truly global perspectives and an international education.
