Bachelor’s Degree Offered by the Department of Undergraduate Psychology
(San Diego and Southwestern College)
The Degree Completion Program in Psychology includes a common core curriculum across psychological disciplines and strives to prepare students to enter the professions or enter a graduate program. An important component of the psychology program is its nine-unit capstone sequence in which students gain considerable practical training, something not typical of most undergraduate programs. The program also offers a cultural immersion option as a summer elective at our Mexico City Campus, where students experience Mexican culture through excursions and in-class lectures.
