Business Administration: BS, with Public Administration Concentration

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with Public Administration Concentration is designed to provide the necessary tools to navigate successful careers in the growing non-profit and public sectors. As part of the program, students will be exposed to a variety of hands-on, real-world experience derived from required internship hours and classroom lectures and projects.

Program Outcomes
- Students will analyze the political, economic and legal dynamics of the policy-making environment and its impact on the work of public administrators.
- Students will explain institutional, demographic and ideological contexts within which public policies are formulated and implemented.
- Students will list and appraise major trends and shifts in the future shape and direction of public administration.
- Students will illustrate the role of public organizations in a democratic society.
Curriculum and Degree Requirements
The minimum number of units necessary to receive the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with Public Administration Concentration, including courses for the major, the business core, general education, and free electives, exclusive of foundation courses is 120 units. Foundation Courses
