This program enables students to gain a deep understanding of sustainability frameworks applied to sports and to learn the skillset needed to implement best sustainability practices in the business of sports.

Program Outcomes
Students will be able to:
- Demonstrate concrete vocational knowledge in the field of sustainability in sports venue management, and fan and sponsor engagement.
- Leverage the unique cultural and market influence of sports to implement greener, business savvy initiatives focused on addressing climate change, protecting public health, reducing waste, promoting clean air and water, and preserving biodiversity.
- Understand how to incorporate ecologically and socially preferable and cost-competitive practices into the business of sports.
Curriculum and Degree Requirements
Seven units are required for the Certificate in Sports and Sustainability.
Curriculum Plan
