ACT 3050 - Financial and Managerial Accounting

The course examines the general nature of financial accounting and management accounting and the underlying terms, systems and concepts. The financial decision making process using financial accounting data, financial statement analysis; reporting requirements; and the importance of the cash flow statement will also be discussed. The course will also explore the general nature of management accounting, and the underlying cost terms, systems and cost behavior.
