BUS 6020 - Strategic Management(3 units) This course will introduce the concepts of strategic management. It will concentrate on modern analytical approaches that drive successful strategic practices and result in enduring competitive advantage. This course is designed with a technological and global outlook and will provide students with a pragmatic approach to inform their environmental analysis, strategy formulation and implementation, and evaluation and control of strategic initiatives. The course will also cover tactical planning, budgeting analysis, and uncertainty and risk management. Corporate social responsibility and ethical judgment as well as teambuilding will also be covered. Prerequisites: ORG 7440
