LAW ELIMBIAS - Elimination of Bias

Elimination of Bias is designed to be an introduction to the identification of bias and discrimination by individuals and society, and to increase cultural diversity sensitivity in order to better serve legal clients and society in general. It will allow students to explore individual biases that each person holds, reinforce the students’ knowledge of legal requirements to act in a non–discriminatory manner. It will introduce students to challenges and strategies for assisting clients with people of limited English proficiency.
