PSY 7656 - Evidence-Based Practices for Counselors

This course will examine the philosophy, history and value of evidence-based practices in the field of clinical counseling. Students will develop knowledge of evidence-based practice, including skills needed to identify, acquire and assess appropriate interventions proven effective in treatment of specific client issues and basic skills required to evaluate their own counseling practice.
