LDR87800 - Creating Change and Innovation(3 units) This course addresses the role of leadership in organization. Specifically, it examines how leadership can enhance (or inhibit) each step of the organizational change process and innovation. Students will analyze various change management models and approaches to innovation in the context of organizational leadership, frames of systems thinking, the learning organization, global leadership, and organizational ethics.
In addition to the classroom instruction, the on-ground students are required to get real-world experience through a practicum in an approved organizational setting for 100-160 hours or an applied project designed with the instructor (International students need to meet with their international student advisor for details).
