Program Description/Overview
This program is designed for candidates that already have earned their Preliminary Education Specialist Credential. After earning a Preliminary Education Specialist Credential, candidates have 5-years to earn a Clear Credential.
This program is comprised of four courses (12 units), two online pedagogy courses and two field experience courses. These four courses combined address all of the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) Clear Education Specialist Program Standards. During the Collaborative Field Experience courses, candidates are assigned a university mentor and a district-employed support provider who coach and mentors the candidate in “best-practices” to optimally address the learning needs of students with unique challenges to overcome.
