EDU 6862 - Teaching the English Language and Diverse Learner in the Special Education Setting

This course advances the Candidate’s capacity to adapt the curriculum and instructional delivery for the ELL, making the content accessible and comprehensible to all learners. Candidates learn about state and federal requirements as well as the ethical considerations for the placement of the ELL student. Individual factors impacting student language acquisition and embedded and applied to the learning process.
