ECO 2000 - Introduction to Economics(3 units) This course introduces principles of microeconomics and macroeconomics with a focus on current global issue, from the multiple perspectives of currently competing schools of thought in economics. The course covers fiscal and monetary issues, central banking, the economic roles of households and firms, the interrelation of economic perspectives with perspectives in marketing, politics, management, humanities and international relations. Students will gain knowledge that can be applied to their personal and professional lives as well as to ongoing study in management, economics and international relations. (Alliant Mexico only)
