IST 6454 - Enterprise Systems Analysis and Project Management

Students will learn the traditional systems development life cycle as well as more recent concepts of rapid prototyping. 5GL development, GUI development. Students will analyze and build a system using a state-of-the-art software tool. Students will also learn project management skills - to both build and run projects. Students will have hands-on experience using both Microsoft Project and SAP Project Systems. The course covers the Project Management Institute (PMI) body of knowledge. The outcome of the course is that the student will be eligible to sit for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) exam.

Prerequisites: IST 6010
