PSY 6112 - Social Bases of Behavior(2 - 3 units) An overview of the development and functions of basic social motives. Examines research and theory in areas such as learning, self as process, person perception, interpersonal behavior and group dynamics, attitude/value formation and change, aggression, altruism, context of culture and sex roles. Discussion will emphasize the clinical relevance and application of social psychological research and social psychological assessment devices.
