ORG 8120 - Talent Staffing and Selection(3 units)
The course will cover legal background (Federal and state laws), landmark Supreme Court cases, Uniform Guidelines, SIOP Principles. In addition, the following topics will be covered; Job analysis models and applications of job analysis, criterion models and criterion development, reliability and validity, selection utility, decision making models and strategies for combining predictor scores, adverse impact and test fairness models, cognitive ability predictors, interviews, simulations and performance tests, and personality predictors.
Prerequisites: PSY 6021, PSY 6700
