Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Graduate

This certificate program provides students the knowledge and skills needed to effectively teach English in a variety of English as a second language (ESL) and English as a foreign language (EFL) settings. It consists of five 3-unit Master’s level courses that may be applied toward the Master of Arts degree with a concentration in TESOL. This certificate is offered online and at the San Diego campus. Students must meet the admissions requirements for the TESOL master’s program. 

15 units are required for the Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Graduate.
