The 50-hour program will utilize in-person discussions, online curriculum, as well as hands on practice using EMR systems. The certificate will be given to those who have completed and shown proficiency through testing in the concepts and use of an HIT system. After completing the training, students can join healthcare organizations looking for clinicians with EMR knowledge, any EMR development and training departments, or institutional training and learning departments.

Program Eligibility Requirements
- Participants will preferably have some clinical background such as experience in healthcare administration, healthcare IT, training on computer applications in healthcare, licensed vocational nurse (LVN), certified nursing assistant (CNA), or registered nurse (RN).
