Business Administration: BS, with Public Administration Concentration

Program Outcomes


  • Students will analyze the political, economic and legal dynamics of the policy-making environment and its impact on the work of public administrators.
  • Students will explain institutional, demographic and ideological contexts within which public policies are formulated and implemented.
  • Students will list and appraise major trends and shifts in the future shape and direction of public administration.
  • Students will illustrate the role of public organizations in a democratic society.

Curriculum and Degree Requirements


The minimum number of units necessary to receive the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with Public Administration Concentration, including courses for the major, the business core, general education, and free electives, exclusive of foundation courses is 120 units.

    1. Oral/Written/Visual Communication (must take EN150T and EN230T to ensure Oral Communication unless comparable courses have been taken/transferred in)
